Sester’s Dwarf Blue Spruce – Picea pungens



With its intensely blue needles, and neat classical conic shape, Sester’s Dwarf Colorado Blue Spruce is sold in the nursery trade as a high value specimen plant for the dwarf conifer enthusiast.

Ornamental Features:

The diminutive evergreen only grows to a height of 6’-8’ at maturity with a spread of 4’-5’ in a true pyramidal shape. It resembles a dwarf Alberta spruce in size and form. It bears stiff sharply pointed needles, which are 4-sided. Growth is very slow; 1-2″ per year.
